it is unfortunate to see the social responsibility of the media is decreasing nowadays. remember that event when there was a much buzz in the all sphere of media about the saurabh's case. as we are a student of mass communication our teacher teach us the first lesson that is authentication of the news and news source. though we are a student and budding journalists but we never forget to cross-check the news. i was surprised to see that all the fronts of media were coloured with the news of saurabh's case except The Hindu. what happened after two days bublle bursted and we came to know that this news was wrong. can somebody ponder that what type of impact thes act of media was created on the mass?
recently one TV Channel has shown again a rescue event of another prince. in this country there is a vast majority of people who switch on his or her TV Sets to know the happening in his surroundings but what he see much hyped shilpa shetty's big brother case or shilpa shetty's againg kissing scene with richard gere.
i request to my senior journalists that it is a hard fact that everything revolves around money but there are some thing bound with journalism and as we are journalist we have to protect those. please dont show and give more time to such things which cordone the image of media. there are lot of fish to fry in strengthing our democracy.
